In the small town, in the province of Caceres (Extremadura, Spain), famous for its exquisite strawberries and cherries, are located in a place of extraordinary natural simplicity, half foot of the mountains (750m. altitude) in northern Extremadura.
A quiet and peaceful, surrounded by lush vegetation of native trees: alders, chestnut, oak and rebuellos among others.
Along with the broad Gorge, the steady murmur of the water against the rocks entrechocar causes the traveler evocations dreamer who can start with a visit to the Roman archaeological sites along the Via de la Plata (or Route de la Plata).

On the other side, Hervas, with one of the most important Jewish neighborhoods throughout Spain and a little further north, on land Castilian-Leonesa, textiles Bejar, alongside Candelario which has a perfectly preserved architecture, under the ski resort of La Covatilla, where you can enjoy winter sports, all this just thirty minutes by freeway from the Route de la Plata (or Via de la Plata). |
